Tour the Big Bone Trail at Big Bone Lick State Park, the birthplace of American vertebrate paleontology, with paleontologists, archaeologists and historians from the Cincinnati Museum Center and Friends of Big Bone. Interpretive commentary on the Ice Age, fossil mammals, Native Americans, as well as the geology and native vegetation of the area, will be provided. Bring your fossils and artifacts to be identified by professional archaeologists and paleontologists. Join re enactors at an 1800s era campsite. Tours will begin at the Big Bone Trail between the Visitor Center and Nature Center.
