Directions: Take I-275 to Exit #16. At Hwy 50 turn left and go 200 yd and turn left at the end of the Shell/Subway. Cross the levee and drive to the front of the Cement Plant. Turn right and drive one block. Turn left at the entrance sign. Parking area is on the right.

Autumn in the floodplain brings migrating ducks, shorebirds, eagles and herons. Mammals, fish, and even plants adjust for the approaching winter.  A guided tour through the Oxbow area will look at these preparations for Winter. Meet at the Oxbow Entrance Parking Lot:
