See live birds up close! This is a great time to catch birds for banding because the young of the year increase bird populations. In addition to showing how birds are banded, a professional bird bander will speak about the plight of neotropical migrant birds, which migrate from North America to Central and South America, and back again. The bander will band neotropical migrant species, along with year-round resident birds. Stop by anytime between 8 - 11 AM. In the event of steady rain or high-wind conditions, this event may have to be cancelled. Meet at Sharon Centre in Sharon Woods.
